Questions about sync account position

Hi fellow traders,

I understand the strategy position vs account position. My question is, if I set sync account position = true when enabling a strategy. During the session the data feed disconnected and reconnected. Upon the data re-connection, would the strategy re-sync the account position?

If not, would it be possible to code the re-sync account position upon data feed re-connection into the strategy?

leizhenhua, that will depend on which ConnectionLoss handling setting you run with here.

Please note though that recalculate would not reload any historical data potentially missed.

Do you mean if I set the connection loss handling to recalculate, the strategy will re sync account position upon re connection?

And if I code the handling settings into the strategy, but differently from either the option ninjascript or the strategy option tag, which settings would the strategy pick up?

Correct, the idea is to allow recalculation of the strategy position on a new instance and using the sync options if set. If you have hard-coded in the handling settings, that's what should be used since it will start with a fresh instance.
