Instrument not supported by repository

I can't seem to import the historical last.ntd files that I downloaded. I've followed the instructions to a "T" and to the best of my ability. I'm trying to import files for CL 1-15 which I have selected the correct dates and downloaded to the /db folder in the NinjaTrader folder.

Once I select Start Import within seconds the Historical Data Manager gives me the (not responding) message and then a window pops up saying there was an error. The log shows
'Instrument not supported by repository'

Obviously I'm doing something incorrectly

What type of historical data files were these .ntd files that you placed in the db folder? (Daily, Minute, Tick etc...) ?



You may need to make sure the files were placed into the appropriate folder type.



Please send a note to platformsupport [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Ryan L." in the subject line.

In the message, please include the following:
1.) A link to this forum thread.
2.) Your latest log and trace file:

You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

• The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"

You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

• The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"

3.) Please also send me a sample of the historical data you are attempting to import so I can test further on my end.
