ninja script strategy exit

Hi NT,

I would like to know the recommended proper sequence for manually exiting a position from an automated system running from a chart. I realize the question is a bit of an oxymoron but never-the-less I've run into situations where I bungled my way to close the open position. I'm a little embarrassed to ask this question but I've searched thru the help section and the automated trading threads and wasn't satisfied I'd found an answer. Thank you.

Hi grav_rat,

To close your position you can just bring up any order entry window and submit your order manually. Then stop your strategy. Alternatively, if you wanted to program a strategy that automated entries but allowed you to have control of exits you can look at using the ATM strategies along side the NinjaScript strategy. Please take a look at SampleAtmStrategy reference preinstalled with your NinjaTrader.
