Cumulative Profit

Hi,

in my strategy analyzer, the cumulatief profit shows 17,32%.
But the nett profit is $15850 for one year. The marging is around $5000, i trade with 10,000

I know the nett profit is correct, i have seen this in my actual trading..

So how can i get this cumulative profit percentage to reflect my used margin / start of the account?

Thanks for your post.

From the drop down on the top toolbar of the Strategy Analyzer please select Currency and take a new screenshot.

(This will make things easier to calculate)

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Hi Chelsea,

not necessary, because it will show the value, exactly the nett profit.

So my question is; where is the percentage cumulative profit based on?

From the help guide:
Currency - SUM(profit * quantity * point value) of all trades
Percent - PRODUCT(1 + profit / entry price) of all trades - 1
Points - SUM(profit * quantity) of all trades
