delete old accounts

Under tools, options, account groups.
Right side shows all available accounts.
I used different brokers and have accounts no longer valid. (Account # remained)
How can I delete right side accounts completely from data?

Thank you for your post.

Within NinjaTrader 7 this menu will display all accounts which NinjaTrader has ever accessed even if those accounts are no longer used. Unfortunately, it is not possible to individually remove accounts from this menu. The only way to clear this information would be to discard the existing database and force NinjaTrader to create a new database.

If this is something which you would like to try please rename your database by following the steps listed below. Doing so will cause NinjaTrader to create a new database on start up. Because of this, ATM strategy templates, custom session templates, custom instruments and instrument lists will need to be recreated. Records of historical orders and executions would not be available in the new database but will be preserved within the file that is renamed.

To rename the database:

• Shutdown NinjaTrader.
• Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > DB folder.
• Right click on NinjaTrader.sdf and select "Rename." *
• Rename the file 'OLDNinjaTrader.sdf'.
• Finally, restart NinjaTrader.
