Hello, having a couple of issues with replay.
I would like to use the Market Replay Data Downloader (Version RCV3.0) to download multiple days of ES data at a time. Files download no problem and are placed in the
NinjaTrader 7\db\data dir with a file folder for each day. The data size for each day looks fine comparing to days where I downloaded using the utilties method. However, when I use replay menu and check the available days the bulk market replay that was downloaded is not seen. Only the data using the utilties download is seen. If I ignore the "available data" and just run replay from the date where I used the bulk downloader, It runs fine. The "availability data" checker is just not seeing the bulk data that was downloaded. So the chart is finding the data. What is missing is any historical data, even though replay data has been downloaded To make it more confusing, the issue is only on minute charts. If I switch the chart to days all the data is there going back years. Most confusing. What makes it worse is I am pretty sure when using replay 6 to 8months ago using the Bulk method worked just fine.
Would appreciate any insite to what is going on. In lieu of that a couple of questions:
1) When data is downloaded using utilities, is it still stored in NinjaTrader 7\db\data. It appears that it is.
2) If I download 5 days in a row using the utilties method, then go to 3rd day and load a chart will day 1 and 2 plot as the data has already been downloaded. Mine does not.
3) Why does historical day data show up on a replay but the minute data not. Is day data handled differently
4) did a recent Ninja 7 update (last 5months) change something on how replay data is handled. Currently it shows a blank chart (no historical data) until the replay is running and then bars start to appear. I know this was not the case before.
