Interactivebroker response windows disappear?

when using chart trader connected to interactive brokers ---

interactive brokers response windows flash on the screen but immediately disappear.

[e.g.] when my IB alerts window is activated when a trade is executed I can't respond to the response message window generated by the alert because it flashes on and off the screen so quickly. thus I cannot reset the alerts window to be ready for the next trade alert.

is there a solution to this problem?

Thanks for your post.

Please go to Tools> Account Connection
Select your IB account and press Change
Select Next on the Manage an Existing Connection and General screens
Uncheck Run-time Pop Up Handling

I tried the below workaround, but it did not fix the issue. The IB >> Help >> AboutTWS popup still flashes and is gone. Any other suggestion?

Can you include a screenshot of your IB connection settings page?
