Ninja Newbie - best way to automate?

I have used it for a DOM in the past in simulated discretionary Emini scalping

I would now like to create an automated system and begin trading that system on sim mode real time data. Most likely YM, ES and NQ, possibly TF.

Does Ninja trader support renko, range, tick and similar bars that are not minute bars?
Where do I begin to figure that out and get the charts how I want them?

Can I program an indicator that Ninjas charting does not have if I have the formula?

Will Ninja allow me to create an automated system based on bar patterns?

What scripting language will I have to get involved in and is there an GUI system to get around that?

Tick based bars are available in NinjaTrader for Range, Renko, and more. You can view the supported bar types at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h.../bar_types.htm

You can develop indicators in NinjaTrader using NinjaScript. And strategies can be developed based on bar patterns.

NinjaTrader supports programming through NinjaScript which is based on C#. If you would like to take on learning NinjaScript, we have a fully documented help guide which will help you get started with Ninja Script. You will find language references to all of the methods and functions you will be using. You will also see a tutorial section which will help you create your first indicator and get you started with some of these concepts.
