Connection to excel, etc

every time i log on, ninja goes to the last program i was in and tries to enter my interactive brokers logon info into that program when connecting to interactive brokers. [eg] when i am in excel it paste the info into one of the excel cells.

please advise

You can disable the connect on startup feature for your Interactive Brokers connection by going to Tools > Account Connections, selecting your IB connection and clicking Change. *Then clicking Next, unchecking the box 'Connect on startup' and clicking Next > Next > Finish.

but I want to connect on startup. why give me a choice if it doesn't work?
what does ''steal focus'' mean?

The connect on startup feature works.

When using this feature with Interactive Broker, Trader Workstation will be launched when you open NinjaTrader. *
NinjaTrader will attempt to enter in your username or password. *If you select another window prior to the username and password being enter, the username and password will be entered in the selected window.
