Trading on Tradestation through Ninjatrader

Hi there,

Im pretty new to trading please excuse my lack of knowledge on these

Recently I have bought a trading system that use the ATM strategy on Ninjatrader to execute trading orders. I have Tradestation as my broker, so my question is, after I have properly link up NT and TS, am I right that say I set a limit order on NT, when it is executed, Tradestation would receive the signal and place the trade on the Tradestation platform as well?

I have followed the steps on Tradestation Integration for automated trading however so far it doesnt look like its working, please help, thanks a lot!

Thanks for the post DealerSing - that's unfortuantely not possible, the TradeStation integration would not allow for sending order to a TradeStation account for execution. We can though process signals generated by a TradeStation script and execute them on NinjaTrader's side.

Thanks Bertrand, I have just finished all the steps on setting up. When I try a test trade on TS, it says Invalid futures symbol, im trading the ES and the symbol is @ES on TS, is that wrong?

Hi Bertrand I have figured the symbol should be @ESH15, and I have just executed a test trade on TS, however looks like the NT didnt show anything, would I be missing something?thanks.

Hi Bertrand, do you mean if the order is limit entry order or market order? It is a limit entry order.

Maybe I did not insert the strategy correctly?

No, I was just curious if this was a strategy triggered entry in TradeStation or if you did a manual trade and felt it should be replicated in NinjaTrader. Which interface option do you use, email or dll?
