Unable to Connect to TWS

I'm unable to connect to TWS Interactive Broker as I get the following error message.

"Can't find Java executable at G:Windows/System 32/javaw.exe. Unable to start TWS."

How do I fix this.

Thank you for your post.

In order to get TWS to load without giving any error message about having to manually search for javaw.exe please do the following:
1. Locate javaw.exe located in the following directory:
a. C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.6.0_20\bin(Note your version may be different from jre1.6.0_20)
2. You are going to COPY the javaw.exe file to the 'clipboard' (right-click Javaw.exe and select copy)
3. Now paste it into the following directory:
a. C:\Windows\System32(right-click the System32 folder and select paste)
4. Once this is complete, the TWS shortcut on the users desktop will work with no errors.

I did that and it worked. But now it states that it can't find "IB Adapter Start Tws: can't find registry key "Trader Workstation"

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)

What build of TWS are you using? You can check in TWS by going to Help > About Trader Workstation and scrolling down to build.

Is TWS configured as in the connection guide below?
