historical data

Im using ninja trader with continuum. Im trying to download a 240 minute chart between 4th July 2014 to 3rd October 2014 data series ES. Ive gone historical data manager, however the data is still not loading in the charts when I go to custom view in data series. What am I doing wrong please. Thank you in advance

Hello,

Please try setting a custom date range in your chart:
Right click in the chart and select Data Series.
Under the Data section of the list of properties on the right side of the window, set 'Load data based on' to Custom Range.
Next, use the Start Date and End Date properties to select the timeframe which you are trying to load data for and click OK.

Ive done all that as well, and I cant get data back further than 2nd October 2104

Hello,

Which interval of data are you attempting to access? (tick, day, range, etc.)

Please open the Options menu (Tools > Options) then navigate to the Data tab. Which 'Merge Policy' is set here?

Merge Backup Adjusted is the merge policy Im trying to load 240min 120min or tick

The trace file is found in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. I would need a copy of the 'trace.20141207.txt' file.
