Cloud Server Specification

Hi,

I intend to put Ninja running hosted in a Cloud Server. I checked NinjaTrader website and the minimum requirements:

Minimum PC Requirements
Windows XP (SP3 Required), Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 2003 Operating System
Minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768
Minimum P4 Processor or higher
2GB RAM
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (pre-installed on most PC’s or can be downloaded below)

Is 2gigs RAM really enough ? Do you have any suggestion of minimum or recommended Internet badwidth to be contracted ? Also if you have any suggestion of companies that already provide good services to NinjaTraders users, pleas say it.

I only know of http://www.speedytradingservers.com/...es/ninjatrader and some people have used amazon from what I've read on here.

It depends on what you are doing if you need 2 gbs of ram, and how many things are loaded on the PC that are sucking up memory.

You can always start smaller and run more memory if you need to (or do the other way).

Sledge makes some great points here.

Additionally, please note that Vista and higher require a minimum of 2 gigs just to run the OS. This may come into factor for your needs.
