No historical data for NT/CQG today

    No historical data for NT/CQG today

    Overnight chart data did not come up this morning for NT/CQG, tried reload/repair db/clear cache no dice.

    Same here. Reload historical data grayed out. NT/CQG seems unreliable with high activity.

        same here, NT ist so unreliable and unstable that I should really consider switch to another trading platform.

            Hello ,

            At this time we have switched to the back up historical data server.

            You will need to shutdown and restart NinjaTrader to connect to the back up server.

            If you are unable to get data after this, please send us a note to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com

                Historical data

                Good morning, I wanted to make a suggestion to users on how I handled this issue when it seemed to be happening every few weeks. I now shutdown my computer after market close and restart before the 6 PM market open. I also avoid rebooting at all costs during the day just in case the historical servers are down. This is much cheaper than a secondary data source.

                    Yeah, I got some historical data, then none, then some charts that said it was 7:11am forever when it wasn't even 7:11am yet. Great stuff. CQG data of course. Can't get any data on any contract from 12-14 or 3-15. Actually I have 3-15 data for a 1-min chart and a 15-min chart. That's it. But not my entry chart which I was dumb enough to change because it said it was 7:11am at 7:00am for about 25 bars and that just didn't sound right for some reason.

                        No Historic data

                        I've restarted also.
                        No historic data.
                        Rithmic and another CQG data source are fine.
                        It seems to just be the NT data feed.

                          The support response is overwhelming at this point. Looks like a 3-day weekend. It's weird because this happens almost every rollover.

                            At least I have the 1-min to trade off of. It could be worse. I could be left with trading the 15-min.

                              I've got the same data problems with Continuum. Restarting NT doesn't help.
