Restart NT and now no data

    Restart NT and now no data

    I shut down and restarted Ninja Trader and now I can't get data. If I load TF.. I get data but its old (11/20/2014). If I try to load CL ... I get no data at all.

    I'm trying and able to connect to CQG. The symptoms are the same before and after connecting to CQG.

    Any Ideas?

    Which version of NinjaTrader are you using? (Help > About)

    If TF 12-14 is selected in the Orders tab of the Control Center window do you see updates in the bid, ask and last price fields or is 'n/a' shown here instead?

      I put TF in the Orders tab of the Control Center window and there are values but they are not updating. And the 'Last' price on the chart is not near the Bid/Ask price in the Control Center. In fact its 14.0 TF points off.

      The bid/ask on the Control Center is the correct bid/ask of the TF. It seems the problem is on the chart.


      This also implies there is no: 'n/a'

        Hello,

        Based on the information which you have provided I would like you to try the following:
        • Disconnect from your data provider.
        • Open the Options menu. (Tools > Options)
        • In the Data tab of the Options menu, click the 'Reset Instruments' button.
        • Restart NinjaTrader for the change to take effect.


        After restarting, please reconnect to your data source then reload TF 12-14 data.
