Fix Api Support

Is it possible to receive market data and send orders via fix api in Ninja Trader?
If it is possible can you please explain how to implement it.
My broker firm supports Fix protocol

Order sending speed is very important for me.

NT 8 supports IBKR gateway.

Pls correct me if I am wrong. But their documentation implies that market data requests are via ib api and the order routing part is via fix running concurrently. Therefore, nt 8 supports FIX? Or is the IB gateway support only limited to data requests?

Unfortunately we could not provide internal details, but some components of our adapter technologies would use FIX interface parts, however we would not have support for a generic solution here.
