Drawing Toolbar Vertically on Left Side of Chart

Hello nothingbutprofits,

Could you specify which version you are referring to, it looks like both an NT7 and NT8 toolbar have been posted. You can edit either file however NT7 uses Windows Forms controls and NT8 uses WPF controls, placement of those controls would correspond with the Winforms or WPF properties.

NT8 is what I have here. Ok..where do I edit the settings via NinjaTrader Drawing Tools properties that will display the toolbar at horizontal position, instead of left vertical position?

If you mean the item that was from post 10 that uses the standard NT8 toolbar so that would not specifically be able to be moved to a different location. You could use most of that indicator but you would have to also create a new toolbar and add the buttons to that. There is a sample of creating a custom toolbar in the following link. An alternative would be to use the DrawingToolTile indicator that comes with the platform which makes a floating window that could be placed on the left.
