Hello and thank you for your post,
Currently, the browser version of Interactive Brokers is not supported. Only the desktop version is supported.
Below, I've included a link to the NinjaTrader Connection Guide for Interactive Brokers.

ok, i downloaded and installed the standalone Tws.
but the API Access is denied on the global configurations.
not sure what that is about.
i have a money account on my other computer.
on this computer i was trying to use the associated sim-account that IB provides.
not sure if that is why the API access is denied.
i have in the past used the sim - trade side of IB as a data provider for Ninja.
i am not sure, perhaps they changed that so people couldnt use it for data.
do you happen to know the solution ?
(well i went online, the guy said i downloaded an older version from their site, and to upgrade to the latest tws version)
solution found

Hello td_910,
Thank you for your post.
The reason IB is not showing in your list is because your current license is configured to use Trading Technologies.
Due to that can you please go to Help-->License Key and please copy the license key and send an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com so that we can look into resolving the issue. There are a couple of resolutions we can take but it will depend on the precise license you are using.
Please reference this forum post when sending that email with the license, and please do not post the license to the forum as that is your unique trading license.
We look forward to being of further assistance.Riley S.NinjaTrader Customer Service
