Ruble Future 6R

Hi all,

I'm looking for data / charts with the Rithmic feed for the russian ruble future 6R but can't find it in the Instrument Manager (NT 7.0.1000.25).

Any thoughts?

Hi Jens, thanks for the post. The 6R would not be setup per default, but you could add this to the database manually of course.

Looks to me though like it's pretty illiquid.

Hi Bertrand,

thank you for the response.
Tried to add already manually the 6R symbol but failed because

1. after loading a chart it comes up with "Error loading chart data 6R 12-14 Globex Server does not support this instrument"
2. Cannot setup "Tick size" in Instrument manager "$.000005" (there is no option to choose this value)

Correct Jens, our data server would not record data for it, hence the message shown.

I checked further into and you're right, the ticksize is not available - I will make a note in our enhancement lists and see about adding it in for the next major update.

O.K. Bertrand thank you for clarifying. I thought I made some mistakes. What do you think how long does it take to add the "new" contract to NT7?

Do I have to have a look after some days / weeks by myself or do I get an E-Mail?

Hi Jens, currently there are no plans to this contract in - but I have this on the feedback list and will monitor demand. Will also need to be seen how liquidity will develop for it going forward.
