multiple workspace

At certain times, NT will present an error box indicating my computer is out of memory and needs to shutdown. Upon restart Nt will bring up 2-3 workspaces. Why does it do that?

Thank you for your post.

Upon startup NinjaTrader will open all Workspaces that were previously open during the previous session.

Check if you are running workspaces in the background (these will request data & resources as well) and close them. Can you please restart NinjaTrader and go to File-->Workspaces and check what workspaces are listed below 'Save Workspace As'. The workspace with the checkmark is the workspace opened on your monitor. Any additional workspaces listed, are opened in the background.

Select a workspace without a checkmark that you do not need open and subsequently go to File-->Workspaces-->Close Workspace. Repeat this process until only the Workspace(s) you want open are listed.

I had only one WS opened. No other WS was running concurrent to the active one.

Please use the steps I have provided below to delete your workspace configuration file:

• Close NinjaTrader
• Documents
• NinjaTrader 7
• Workspaces
• Delete the file named "_Workspaces.xml"
• Open NinjaTrader
• Restart NinjaTrader
• Open you Workspace if it is not already open

Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.
