Delayed data problem

Hello,

My datafeed is IQFeed 5.1.1.3

I am on NT version 7.x.x.25

My ES data comes delayed 10 min, which is expected.

When I load a chart, the data shows all ticks as AS IF I was subscribed to real-time data. However, NT spends the next 10 min constructing a fake wrong bar until the NT time stamps synchronize with the delayed data feed.

I have checked with IQFeed and the data feed is working properly, i.e. streaming 10 min delayed data from the moment the data is called. I can prove that with screenshots if necessary. The problem then lies on NT design.

I have been aware of this problem and have reported it for 4 years but nothing has been done about it.

Please help, I am frustrated.

Thanks for your reply.

Development is aware of this limitation and it is expected. No change is expected with NinjaTrader 7. Development is looking into this for NinjaTrader 8 and will see if this can be resolved or if ti will be a limitation.
