Connection best practices (IB, Kinetick)

How often do you restart NinjaTrader? It is recommended to restart NinjaTrader daily with Kinetick.

Hi Brandon,

I am doing restart once a week. Any reason why daily restart is needed? When I have a lot of positions opened via strategies, it is a bit tedious to do daily restarts.

i am very much interested in the continuation of this discussion

i agree with redduke daily closing and opening your strategies is a hassle that should not be of this time anymore. It looks like Kinetick is only good for daytrading? But even for daytrade strategies you don't want to reconnect on a daily basis.
