3 chart questions

Hi,

1) When i apply a "Pricealert" indicator to a chart, then i change instrament, I can see the line on the other instruments chart, is this by design?

2) can i set a price alert for one instrument only?

3) can line studies be saved to an instrument? so when i close the chart down and reopen it tomorrow it still has my trend lines

Hello pipsalottle,

1. Unfortunately not, this is by design. Instruments can use very different prices, so the value you enter for 'Price' will likely not be relevant when switching instruments.

2. You can also setup alerts in the Market Analyzer as per the instructions at the following link.

You can load multiple instruments in the Market Analyzer. The alert condition will apply to all instruments added in the Market Analyzer.

3. Drawing objects are saved when you save your workspace. So please do not close the chart when you shut down NinjaTrader. Leave it opened and select Yes when prompted to save your workspace. The next time you start NinjaTrader, the chart should appear with the drawing objects.
