Kagi properties

I have just set up a portfolio and found some nuisance issues with the Kagi set up.
When selecting Kagi as the chart type every time time I have to reselect day as the base period, and reselect percentage as the reversal type then change the reversal value as well. It would be a very welcome change if you could make it so when you select Kagi it remembers the last properties that was input, save a lot of clicking etc every time I create a new Kagi chart.

Also, and this is more important, there is no option for "day" as the reversal type, only tick and percentage. Really should have at least day in there and preferably week and month as well.

I use Kagi charts all the time, would love to see those changes please.

Hello Ken,

You can save the settings of the Data Series menu per period type. Once you setup Base period type and Reversal type as you like, please right click in the grid and select 'Set Default For Kagi Period Type'.

I am not sure how a Day reversal type should function. Could you please clarify?

As far as the day reversal goes, as follows: Essentially it's a "bar" reversal, and then set the number of bar or days, usually 1,2 or 3. W.D.Ganns work. In bull market for instance, a 1 bar reversal would be when a bar exceeds the prior bars low. A 2 bar reversal would be when a second bar exceeds the low of the first reversal bar, and so on. Same as it is for ticks, except with bars.
