Daily bars not showing correct dates

Using the Kinetic free EOD feed and daily charts, I noticed that stocks (e.g., IWM, GLD) show the last bar as today's date (e.g., Oct. 10), when the bar is for the prior day trading session (e.g., Oct. 9).

Index behavior (e.g., ^SP500) is different, and shows the bars with the correct dates.

Is this expected behavior or are there settings that can be adjusted to associate the correct dates on daily charts?

Hello dolomite,

This is due to the session template. If the session template applied to the chart ends the next day, the time stamp for the bar will have the next days date.

Please try right clicking in the chart and selecting Data Series.

Then in the Data Series window selecting Session template, setting to 'US Equities RTH' and pressing OK.

The session template applied to a daily chart will not impact the time frame used for daily bars as this is set by the data provider. The session template will only impact the time stamp of the bar.
