FX data from IB; Futures data from Kinetick

Hello,
I need to just make sure I'm on the right way.

I would like to use data from IB for FX and data from Kinetick for commodities.
If I do that in NT Tolls => Account Connection set the standard kinetic data. And then for IB data select: Use external Serves (futures only).
I understand that correctly?

I have to set something somewhere?

With these two data sources, the first connection which you establish will be the connection which is used for all real-time and historical data requests.

So anything. I need to run strategies in both data historical data.
