NT Strategy Limitation

Should I expect that I could only run a small amount of Strategy Instances before reaching an unstable state? I currently have 48, they have no visual's on the charts, i.e. indicators and anything that could slow things down. Just the candlesticks. The strategies use 30 minutes or daily. There are < 1 trade per 2 days for each strategy - usually.

I ask because I have so many problems with NT and wonder if I need a direct broker connection instead.

I am using a dedicated server i7 with 32GB RAM and running nothing else but NT.

retrofx, there would not be a hard set limit on the # of strategy instances possible - what issues do you exactly see? I would be probably best if we reviewed your diagnostic log and trace files for the setup, you could send them in to us via Help > Mail to Support.

How much data do you typically load up for each instance?

If you don't need the charts, then strategies could be also fired up directly from the strategies tab in the Control Center, this would minimize the load as no visualization / charting would be used then.
