Chart Open: Selected ATM

Hello,

I am totally confused as to what rules Chart Trader is using to set the initial selected ATM Strategy when a new chart is opened.

Sometimes it seems that it uses the last ATM that was set when the chart was closed, for that instrument.

But other times it defaults to <None>.

It seems that the chart template does not save the selected ATM.

In an effort to get a stable ATM selection on startup, I tested some custom code in the OnStartup but it actually caused some problems with ChartTrader.

I would rather have the Chart Template set it.

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, the ATM Strategy which is selected by default when opening a new window is not something which is configurable currently. I will forward your suggestion that this function be unlocked to our development staff for further consideration however.

Is the opening selection of the ATM completely random, do you know, or are there some rules that are not so apparent?

'<None>' will be the default setting for all newly created windows.
