workaround for hedging

Hi,

I was thinking about a workaround for hedging. What if I were to have two seperate accounts, one only for long positions and one only for short positions.

Then I would split my strategy into two strategies, one for longs only and one for short only. Then I'd redirect the long strategy to the long-only account, and redirect the short strategy to the short only account.

Would this work?

Hi siroki, yes that could be done. You would have two separate strategies managing their respective positions then, they would not cross communicate though.
