    Bad view and lost buy..

    Hello,
I need advice. I have actually two problems might be related.
First, the screen: TF Daily bad_view; I see buy 13 September 2014 in 3:50:05 p.m..
The screen: TF 5Min_bad_view; I see buy 12 September 2014 in 3:50:05 p.m.. Both buy have the same Order ID: 146989973 Strange, is not it?

Second, in the Control Center screen: TF Control_Center, see between 10 September 2014 to 15 September 2014, only one buy for two contracts. And the first two screens I see that I have a total of 4 Contracts. I see the same thing in TWS, four contracts.

    I have last ver. NT.
    Data from Continuum.

BTW, on Friday i had to reset Instruments; (Tools=>Options=>Data tab; Reset Instruments).

    Thanks for the explanation

    Hello fLife,

Can you please repair the database and subsequently check if the execution is the same in both charts.

    - Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
    - From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
    - Select the "Data" tab
    - Press the "Repair DB" button
    - Press the "OK" button

Does it make a difference if you select the 'Default 24/7' session template in the daily chart?

The charts show the same execution (same ID as you mention), so you do not have a total of 4 contracts.

Unfortunately on the charts in the statement Account Performance everything remained.

I just discovered the lost buy. In TWS in view trade log: Sep 15, 0:00:02 a.m.
      Attached screen.

In addition, the strategy set time, which does not agree with the time of purchase.

What exactly do you mean by the following:
Does it make a difference if you select the 'Default 24/7' session template in the daily chart?

      Any other options?

Please right click in the daily chart and select 'Data Series'. You can now select the session template.

So I tried to switch Session template. I switched from <Use instrument settings> to Default 24/7. They still buy from the September 15, 2014 0:00:02 am not.

I also do not know why strategies purchased outside the specified time.
This is not the setting chart nothing, right?

          Thank you

Sorry I am not sure if I follow. Could you please clarify the following sentence: "They still buy from the September 15, 2014 0:00:02 am not.".

Automated strategies run as per the session template that is selected.

              I´m sorry.

Still have not seen that buy from Sep 15 0:00:02 a.m.

              The situation has not changed:
First, the screen: TF Daily bad_view; I see buy 13 September 2014 in 3:50:05 p.m..
The screen: TF 5Min_bad_view; I see buy 12 September 2014 in 3:50:05 p.m.. Both buy have the same Order ID: 146989973 Strange, is not it?

Automated strategies run as per the session template that is selected.
              OK, I understand.

                Hello fLife,

The Control Center-->Executions-tab will show the executions for the current day. Do you see it listed there?

Were you connected to IB in NinjaTrader at the time of the execution?

Both charts refer to the same execution, however it is plotted as per the 9/13 bar somehow in the daily chart. What happens if you create a 1440 Minute chart? Does it plot the execution on the 9/12 bar?

What date is reflected under the Account Performance-tab for this execution or do you see two executions there as well?

Hi I tried every suggested method but the problem remains - DB repaired, I changed timeframe to 1440mins, and all other suggestions.

I am only able to find the trade which bought 2 contrats, not the second one with 2 contracts.
Nothing to be seen in executions except the original 12.9.2014 15.50
                  Nothing more after that.

I was most likely connected to IB. -> i cannot be 100% sure since I am not even able to verify when the second position was opened.

What could be the problem, that Ninja does not show the second trade?

Can you please perform a disconnect/re-connect of your IB connections in NinjaTrader and check if the execution is loaded.

If the issue remains, please send me your log and trace files. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support. Put 'Att Jason, Bad view and lost buy..' in the subject header and enable 'Log and trace files'.
