Automated strategy

Hello,

I have a question, suppose In my Automated strategy XYZ holds a LONG 1 position and sets the stoploss and profit target. But in the middle of the stoploss or profit target I want to sell that stock. Then how to place the order externally.

Hello Sameer,

If you place an exit trade outside of the strategy, the strategy will not recognize that trade was closed.

Your account position and the strategy position are separate.

If you would like to be able to have your strategy recognize the exit you will need to add a button that triggers the order closing from inside the strategy. (This method is not supported by NinjaTrader)
