Total net profit

i did backtest on USDJPY, and i have big number in total net profit in "Summary", so my question is, is it in Japanes Yen ?Because ninja told me, its in dolars, but itt doest not make a sense. Thank you a lot !

The performance results will always be in US Dollars. The symbol of the denomitation may change but the value will always be in USD

USDJPY backtest/currency conversion

Thank you a lot for response ! But i have still some problems with results of the USDJPY. I did only 10 trades in backtest, with TP 30 halfpips, with size 25000 and in results i can see total net profit 37 545 dolars. I set no commissions, but it doesnt matter, profit is still too large. How is it possible ? Where can i set final currency for backtest? may be there is a problem. Thank you a lot !

fLife, what you would keep in mind doing the backtesting > the PnL values would not be converted over like you would see in real-time trading with the conversion rate part of the individual execution.

So, my final question is: If do backtest of USD/JPY, USD/.... my results will be always in quote currency ? Same with FGBL, this ticker will be in EUR in results of backtest. Am i right ? Thank you Bertrand !

We would not convert it over.

This is only done for real time execution.
