Fib Retracement & Extensions

Hello everyone,

FIB's are very important to my trading, and I am having a hard time setting up default settings for my FIBS. Is there anyway to have more than 9 Fib numbers? Once I change my fib settings to make them more harmonic trading friendly, how do I ensure they stay that way for future trading sessions and on every chart and for every instrument.

Hi fxyogi17,

There are 10 levels of Fibonacci levels in the Fibonacci Retracement tool.

This cannot be changed.

To save the settings as default settings (for when you use the tool again):

• Right-click the Fibonacci object -> select Properties...
• Right-click the gray area in the Properties window -> select Manage Templates...
• Type the word Default into the Name: field -> click Save

Hi there follow up question,

Ok I have saved my template, but every time I use the fib tool I have to click on the angle line and switch it to the template that I saved, do I have to do that every time or is there a way to get my customized fibs to appear without performer that step.

Hi fxyogi17,

By naming the template Default, this will cause it to load automatically.
