esignal not updating

    esignal not updating

    Just signed up for esignal GTIS data feed.Shows connected in ninjatrader and chart/volume load but its not current and never updates.
    Hoping for some insight into what i may be doing wrong

    ok now im connected to my FXCM feed and its not updating either.

    i havent used Ninjatrader in a few months but was working fine before

    Thank you for your post.

    What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)
    What instrument (and expiry if applicable) have you selected?
    (For a chart) what interval is selected?
    Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

      version. 7.0.1000.25

      These are FX only feeds so im trying to work with EUR/USD

      no errors that i can see

      tried to place some simulated orders and it says "no data feed" but shows connected in the log and in the bottom left corner of control center

        Hello,

        Are you using the symbol 'EUR/USD' or '$EURUSD'? $EURUSD should be used.
        If $EURUSD is selected in the Orders tab of the Control Center window, do you see updates to the bid, ask and last price fields or is 'n/a' shown?

            Hello,

            Please try using the NinjaTrader formatted symbol $EURUSD instead. This symbol can be added to NinjaTrader's default instrument list for easier access in chats by following the steps which are outlined here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...ment_lists.htm

              OK. Now FXCM is updating normally with the $ added but esignal still is not updating at all

                  Im getting an error on my esignal data manager window. i dont think its a ninja trader problem. I assume i need to contact esignal.

                    Fixed! i was able to close out and reboot and now the error is gone and its updating as normal. The $ fixed the problem.
