Tick Strategy?

Is it possible to code a strategy using the wizard to Buy when there is 2 consecutive ticks up and to Sell when there is 2 consecutive ticks down?

Hello kinkeadfx,

This would be possible.

You will need to add a 1 tick series to your script, then check to see if the current tick is greater than the last tick and the previous tick is greater than the tick before.

For example:

In Initialize():

Add(PeriodType.Tick, 1);

In OnBarUpdate():

if (Closes[1][0] > Closes[1][1] && Closes[1][1] > Close[1][2])
EnterLong();

Can i add this 1 tick series using the strategy wizard?

Hello kinkeadfx,

The Strategy Wizard is not able to add a secondary data series and this script would need to be unlocked and modified by hand.
