DTN IQFEED Connection Lost every few minutes

Hello,

IQFeed is disconnecting and reconnecting to NT every few minutes. Sometimes its disconnects in as little as 4 minutes.

I'm using the latest NT and DTN IQFEED 5.1.0.5.

Can you pls help to determine why ?

Hello Lucius,

In general disconnections are caused by network / internet issues.

Do you have an alternative internet source that you can test your connection with?

Are you located inside of the United States?

Have you contacted IQfeed for help diagnosing the connection?

Yes I was think along those lines as well. I'm in North America using a highspeed modem. I regularly was SHD movies on the same connection. I'll get back in touch with DTN support.

IQfeed/NT disconnect several times every hour

I am now experiencing the same problem. I am using IQfeed and NT with IB running separately on the same computer. Every so often I get the split second disconnection and reconnect only on NT/Iqfeed but not on IB. I am on brighthouse cable with an otherwise very reliable connection. This problem seems to be isolated to the NT/Iqfeed data stream. Can I please get some help? Thanks.

The trace file is found in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. I will need a copy of the file which is named 'trace.20150830.txt'.
