Range bars wont load properly

Hi,
I use Kinetick real time as a datafeed provider.

I am trying to load a range bars(10) chart for a number of instruments and it seems that I can not load for a period before 21st Feb 2014.

All of the loaded charts/optimizers start from 21st Feb onward regardless of what beginnning date I set.

I also tried to load a custom range chart (again range bars(10)) for the period of e.g. 1st Nov 2013 - 1st Feb 2014 and the chart appears to be empty with absolutely no data or whatsoever.

I have just spoken with another friend of mine, who also has NT and he confirmed that he is seeing the same error.


Has anyone else seen this problem?

Hello nikolaalx,

Please note that range bars are build by historical tick data. Kinetick only supports 120 days of historical tick data. I suspect you already had historical tick data present in NinjaTrader before the 120 days. You will need to connect to a supported data feed provider that provides more historical tick data.

We support the following data feed provider besides Kinetick:

DTN IQFeed
BarChart
eSignal

Unfortunately I am not sure how much historical tick data they offer. Please clarify this with the data feed provider.
