    Hello rwbil,

    Thank you for your post.

    What is your global merge policy set to?
    (Tools -> Options... -> Data -> Merge policy

    What is this instruments merge policy set to?
    (Tools -> Instrument Manager... -> search for CL -> click the Edit button -> Merge policy

        Hi rwbil,

        The rollover date for the CL 10-14 is 8/18. Your chart is showing the data from these to contracts without adjusting the data.

        Change your merge policy to MergeBackAdjusted if you would like the data adjusted so there is no gap. (In either the global setting or the instruments setting but you don't need to do both).

            Hello rwbil,

            To confirm, when you mention you reload you are right-clicking the chart and selecting Reload All Historical Data, is this correct?

            May I have a screenshot of the merge policy for this instrument?

            Are you connected to a data feed?
            Who are you connected to? (This is indicated in green in the lower left corner of the Control Center)

            The chart has 09-14 selected instead of 10-14 and the gap is there so I'm thinking the data has not been reloaded yet.

              Yes I right click and choose reload all historic data and get the gap on sept and oct contract.

                    Hi rwbil,

                    I was also able to reproduce this issue and corrected the issue by deleting the historical data and reloading it.

                    Please use the steps I have provided below to delete your cache data:
                    • Close NinjaTrader
                    • Open (My) Documents/NinjaTrader 7/db/cache/
                    • Delete all files within this folder
                    • Go up one directory to the /db/ folder
                    • Repeat this procedure for the tick, minute, and day folders as well to delete your downloaded historical data
                    • Restart NinjaTrader
                    • Connect
                    • Open a new chart without any indicators or templates applied to see if you are able to load a chart.


                    This initial load may take a little longer than normal since all new data is being loaded from the historical data servers. After everything has loaded please restart NinjaTrader and let me know if you continue to experience a slow load time.
