Hello. How to set Type=Day in "Data series" and From=01.01.1990 in "Time frame"

Hello alexstox,

You cannot set the bar type to day and the start date to 1/1/2009 in a script.

You can however, right-click the backtest parameters and Set As Default.

This will load these parameters when you select this script.

Well, at the beginning I liked this. But than I noticed that when I change something in my strategy (for example value of variable) it doesn't change this variable in Strategy Analyzer -> Backtest's panel.
Before I used "Set As Default" everything worked OK. How to reset this unfinished feature?!

Hello alexstox,

Using 'Set As Default' causes variable settings to overwritten by what is saved in the template.

If you want to use the settings from the script you will need to delete that default template.

If you want the Strategy Analyzer to remember your settings reset the template with the new settings.

The template is located in

• Documents\NinjaTrader 7\templates\Strategy

Delete this if you want to return to the settings set by the strategy.
