Cant give order

i have one issue with giving order to chart, i cant place TP target ( Sell limit) with any size or price, can u help me ?. I ve got these messages. Thx a lot

The message is coming from IB and means that you need to increase the order size to submit the order.

I know, but even i increase size of amount, over 0,1M, it still doesnt work, I am with 0,1M in position, but i cant give TP (sell limit) with 0,1M, it doesnt make a sense. Thx a lot for respond.

Hello fLife,

With the first screenshot it means that you're most likely using incorrect quote currencies in your IB setting.

The second screenshot is an order size issue from the exchange used for the instrument.
This is IB ideal vs. ideal pro. With idealpro the order size can't be under 170000 GBP as whereas an order submitted shows of 10000. That is why it has been rerouted to ideal instead of staying on idealpro.

What I suggest is to check your settings in TWS or otherwise contact your broker at IB and ask if this can be changed.

Hello, thx for ur clear reply. I have another problem which is related with this one. I trade with my own ATM strategy, if i enable my script to trade, my strategy immediately and automatically buy 1 currency without any signal to trade. I have traded several days with no problems with the same setup and settings. I did some screens. Thx for respond.

fLife, since the account position sync is not enabled > I would not expect any order other than what is determined by the script itself. What's the entry / order name you see issued from the script as this happens?
