chart margin adjustment

Is there a way to maintain a given distance between the last candle and the right margin of the chart instead of the candles continually running into the margin as the market progresses?

Thank you for the question.

For a right hand margin you can set this in the Chart Properties.
If you Right Click the chart and click Properties
There is an option "Right Hand Margin" that you can set to any value.

If you have bars running past the margin, I may ask for you to look in the top right of your chart for the image that I have attached.

If you see the arrow your chart is not automatically following the current bar.
Simply click the arrow and it will snap to the current bar and it should never go past the margin as long as you don't move the chart.
