IB & eSignal DF coexisting

Hi,

I have eSignal DF for futures but I like more the Forex DF from IB (as it has lower spread and I use thick charts only for futures) and in use IB as broker.

My question is can I get all the real time data from eSignal except Forex, getting this from IB?

Unfortunately this is not supported.

I think I found a way.

If the instrument has a code definition for IB but not for eSignals it takes directly the data from IB.

I don't think so.

NT picks the connection by instrument type and not by the mapping of an actual instrument. -> voiding the mapping will not prevent NT from subscribing to this instrument on the first connection supporting the underlying instrument type
