Connection issue with IB TODAY.

    Connection issue with IB TODAY.

    Hi,

    I have been connecting NT to IB for a while. It connected fine yesterday too. But this morning it just refused to connect.

    I have tried everything from upgrading Java to changing sockets and checkbox options. I can send the trace files if needed.

    Hello Vishalct,

    What version of TWS do you have installed? Is it 944.3?

    In addition, can you send us your Log and Trace file so we can take a further look. You can send it from within the software under Help--> Mail to support. Make sure Log and Traces are checked.

      Yes, TWS is 944.3. Sending log & trace shortly.

        Follow up on this.

        The issue was solved after upgrading to the current release of NinjaTrader.

          I am not able to connect to IB via Ninja Trader. I am getting the logon frequently and it times out. I have the correct versions of TWS and Ninja Trader 7.

              TWS Version: 944.3

                Hello,

                Please shut down NinjaTrader and TWS then update to the current 7.0.1000.25 release of NinjaTrader via this link: http://ninjatrader.com/download-registration.php

                After updating please restart NinjaTrader and try the Interactive Brokers connection once more.

                  It worked. Thanks. Do we have to restart TWS daily for this to work or is there a work around?
