New user, basic definitions

Hi all,

I am a new user on the NinjaTrader platform, so please bear with me!

I saw some commonly used definitions on the program, and I didn't know what they meant, so I thought I'd ask here!

Some of them might be very basic, so please don't hate.

What do the following mean?:

Workspace
Instrument
Stop
Limit
StopLimit
'Flatten everything'
'Use FIFO for postition avg. price calculations'
''Use order entry hot keys'
'Delay comm. (msec)
Delay exchange (msec)
Maintenance margin
Wait for data

The best source for information is the NinjaTrader Help guide which can be pulled up at any time NinjaTrader is open by pressing the F1 key. I would recommend you do that and use the search function to find the means of those words you listed.

I would highly encourage you to attend the free live training we provide here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/ProductEducation.php These are a series of 1 hour long webinars and New User Orientation is the perfect place to start. From there we cover charting, DOM, ATM strategy, etc.
