    Recording live data with TD Ameritrade

    I have tried unsuccessfully three days in a row to record live equities data with level II from TD. Each day i came home and Ninja trader was unresponsive and required me to exit the platform and re open to get it to work. Each time the live data recorded for a random time from between 20 mins to 40 mins from the time i initiated it and then stopped.

    I had the record market data checked in options but did not have the save market data as historical box checked. Is this the problem? This is the greatest thing about Ninja trader and i must get this working.

This diagnostic file can be found in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. I will need a copy of the 'trace.20140716.txt' file please.

        I have tried everything that was sugested and the problem persists. I attempted to record just one stock this time and it recorded for 1 min and 45 seconds and then stopped. This is very frustrating that i am unable to utilize the most important aspect that Ninja Trader offers. I MUST have the ability to get stock data with level II so my only other option is to spend easily over $100.00 a month just to get a portion of the data i should be able to get for free through my broker.

        If anyone else has any ideas please feel free to share...
