Default Chart Types Not Working

Default tick bars and range bars to include renko bars appear blank on my NT charts. Only minute and day charts are functional. Please help thanks.

Hello Feretti,

Could it be the connected data feed does not support historical tick data? Range and renko bars are built by historical tick data (as well as tick bars). See the link below under 'Understanding the data provided by your connectivity provider' which will list all supported data feed providers and what data they support.

Am I correct you are using the free Kinetick EOD connection? If so, this is as expected. The free Kinetick EOD connection only supports historical daily data. It does not support tick and minute data. If you subscribe to Kinetick, you will have access to historical tick and minute data.

As per NinjaTrader 7, our preferred market data service is Kinetick. Real time service starts as low as $55 per month. If you trade CME Globex products, you can have these exchange fees waived if you have a qualified brokerage account. This service is only available for NinjaTrader 7.
