How to Use StrategyWizard to setup conditions on one instrument but negotiate another

I negotiate future index contracts, so what I will buy and sell are contracts, BUT when analyzing conditions to enter the makert I look at the INDEX data, not the future contract data.

When setting up an strategy on strategy windows, how can I let NT know that for the conditions to enter the market I wanna consider instrument INDEX, but on the actions to enter the maket I wanna buy or sell the FUTURE CONTRACT (related to that index)? Two different instruments from the tool standpoint, although financially related.

Thank you for your post.

This would actually require unlocking the code to add additional instruments to your script. You will also need to implement the BarsInProgress index in your orders to ensure you submit orders to the correct instruments.
