Reset indicator to new defaults

Is there a way to reset an indicator to the newly created defaults?

My situation is as I am developing using various indicators, I find some new fangled setup that I want to be the new default. I would like to apply these new defaults to another chart to see how it affects that chart.

The problem with just using the chart template is some of the parameters are specific to the chart (e.g., "<instrument>.wav" files).

Thank you for your post.

After setting your indicator parameters please right click within the parameter window-->Set Default For xxxx.

Next you may apply this indicator to other charts again and the new default settings will be reflected.

Does the above mean:

1. Remove the existing indicator
2. Reinsert the indicator

If so, I don't think that works because I have to remember what changes I had done to the indicator I want to keep (e.g., parameter values specific to the instrument).

Correct for the default settings to be reflected you would need to remove the indicator then apply again.

Another option if you do not want to remove the indicator from the current chart would be to create a new chart window.
