Market Replay on historical tick data?

I’ve been searching through the forums and sent an unanswered note to support, but still have an unanswered question.

I am trying to replay daily tick data. I am using opentick, but am not paying for realtime data access. I’ve downloaded separate historical daily tick data and was hoping to replay this data, but I am not able to see any available dates when I navigate to the File>Connect>Market Replay Connection. Do I have to be viewing realtime daily data in order to replay it later? I would think if I have dated and timed historical daily tick data, I should be able to do a Market Replay?

I am using v6.5.0.10.

Simply downloading tick data will not be enough for a Market Replay. For a Market Replay you will need to record the data live.
