    Hi binwang2,

    Thank you for your post.

I'm not quite sure what you are referring to by log scale.

    Can you please clarify this?

When price range is too large, the linear scale will make low price range data points too small to see. A log scale can be used to get a better picture of whole price history.
Say you want to see 20 years of SP500 history, a log scale is very helpful.
For example, Yahoo finance has both log and linear scale. Wondering if NT can d it.

Right-click the field on the right hand side of the chart axis, select "Properties ..." and change the scale type from "Linear" to "Logarithmic".

NinjaTrader allows to display charts based on a logarithmic price scale. The result is called a semi-logarithmic chart, as only the prices are shown on a logarithmic scale, while the time axis is not being transformed and remains linear.

Here are two useful links explaining log scales and when to use them in charting.

It is often easier to draw a trendline on a semi-logarithmic chart than a linear chart. Logarithmic scales are not needed for displaying intraday data, but can be useful for analyzing daily data over several years.

Got the log scale. Also thanks for the tip on using it.
